The London branch of C.F. Møller Architects was established in 2001, following the prestigious commission for the Darwin Centre Phase II in an international competition. Darwin Centre Phase II is an extension to London's Natural History Museum. From 2007-2014 the office was based in the City of London in Whitefriars Street, just a few hundred metres from St. Paul's Cathedral. Our office has gradually outgrown this space and our lease has expired so we are moving eastward to more suitable premises. Our new office is a flexible, open-plan space situated in the Metropolitan Wharf building, an iconic, eight-storey, Grade II listed Victorian riverside warehouse building with views directly to the River Thames from our windows. C.F. Møller’s London branch has 16+ staff members, and we are currently working on a wide variety of projects including cultural, residential and healthcare projects. Earlier projects by C.F. Møller in London include the Darwin Centre at the Natural History Museum, the new Sammy Ofer Wing at the National Maritime Museum, and part of the London 2012 Athletes’ Village residential development. The new address is: C.F. Møller Architects UK Ltd. Metropolitan Wharf, 70 Wapping Wall London E1W 3SS, United Kingdom Nearest tube station is Wapping.
