The hospital, which has 7300 employees and serves approximately 330,000 citizens in Sør-Rogaland from Hjelmeland in the north to Sokndal in the south, will be exploring options for expansions on several locations in Stavanger.
C.F. Møller Architects is shortlisted with a multidisciplinary team in collaboration with Brandenberg-Dahls Arkitekter from Stavanger and engineering companies Alectia A/S and Dimensjon A/S.
C.F. Møller has previously designed one of Norway's five other University Hospitals, at Akershus in Oslo, and is currently working on a number of healthcare projects in Norway, including expansions of the Haraldsplass Hospital and Haukeland Hospital in Bergen.
