The landscape project for the House of Music area has been drawn up by C.F. Møller Landscape and Cowi as consultants to the City of Aalborg. The area is dominated by large, distinctive buildings - first and foremost the House of Music, but also a youth housing project in two sections and a complex for Aalborg University.
The landscape project builds upon the principles incorporated into the first stage of the Aalborg Waterfront project, with a promenade along the fjord as the unifying element, and has also drawn inspiration from the North Jutland landscape and the meeting between the dunes and the flat foreshore. The first stage was inaugurated in late 2011.
The exhibition "House of Music area - landscape project" can be seen in the Spidsgatter Hall in Aalborg's Utzon Center until 14 April 2013.
