Birk Centerpark is a contemporary, international-class example of a functionally mixed urban area, in which the landscape, architecture and artistic elements are combined in exemplary fashion. The origins of Birk Centerpark lie in the establishment of C. Th. Sørensen’s sculpture park and the construction of the Angli factory in the nineteen-sixties. Since then, several more landscaped areas have been added, and more developments have been built, each with its architectural basis in the white, stringent and geometric form language of the Angli factory. Today, various educational institutions and companies make up Birk Centerpark, the majority of them designed by C.F. Møller Architects.
