The idea behind the design of the holiday home Zip House was to achieve maximum flexibility and functionality. The building is constructed on the basis of two staggered blocks which interact with the sculptural form. The blocks create a natural harmony between outdoor and indoor life, further emphasised by the large glass panels. The interior reproduces the simple but sculptural style. The high-ceilinged rooms are equipped with large windows, ensuring plenty of daylight throughout the house. The common areas are located in one wing of the holiday home, while the hall, bathroom and bedroom occupy the space in the other. The holiday home also features a loft room where the family’s youngest can fall asleep beneath a loft window providing a view of the stars.
