The distinctive crystalline shape is defined by the stand roofs around the pitch, the indoor facilities and the four corner entrances. In combination with the stadium's light, open facades in expanded steel mesh, a sports complex is thereby created which presents an open and welcoming face to the town. The project will be realised in stages. So far, three stand sides have been constructed, namely the two long sides and an end stand.
