1924: C.F. Møller founds his architectural practice in Copenhagen. The first design project is for Lejre Rectory, Sealand

1928-42: C.F. Møller forms a partnership with the architect Prof. Kay Fisker

1930: First prize in competition for Aarhus Municipal Hospital

1931: First prize in competition for Aarhus University

1932: C.F. Møller and Kay Fisker establish an office in Aarhus

1950s

1953-68: C.F. Møller appointed Royal Inspector of Listed State Buildings

1965-68: C.F. Møller appointed rector of the Aarhus School of Architecture

1966: Partnership formed with long-time staff members David Birnbaum, Jørn Bisgaard, Henning Jensen and Poul Zacho Rath.

1969: C.F. Møller's son, Mads Møller, joins the partnership

1983-98: Branch office established in Herning

1986: First prize in the international competition "A flexible theatre in Europe"

1987-96: Branch office established in Aabenraa

1987: Morten Erichsen and C.F. Møller's grandson, Tom Danielsen, join the partnership

1989: C.F. Møller is awarded the "Arosia" business prize

1989-91: Branch office established in Roskilde

1991: Anna Maria Indrio and Lars Kirkegaard join the partnership

1991: Branch office established in Copenhagen

1991: C.F. Møller receives the Masonry Award architectural prize

1993: First prize in the competition for an extension to the Danish national gallery, Statens Museum for Kunst, Copenhagen

1994: First prize in the competition to design the TGS technology and research centre in Berlin. Branch office established in Berlin (closes 2003)

2000: Landscape department established

2001: The practice wins the competition for the Darwin Centre Phase Two: an extension of the Natural History Museum, London. Branch office established in London

2004: Klaus Toustrup joins the partnership

2006: Jon Brøcker appointed as head of Design department

2006: The practice is awarded the Nykredit Architecture Prize

2007: Julian Weyer joins the partnership

2007: C.F. Møller Architects takes over Berg Arkitektkontor, Stockholm

2007: C.F. Møller Architects/DNU consortium wins competition for the New University Hospital in Aarhus

2008: Mads Mandrup joins the partnership

2009: The practice achieves Danish Standards ISO 14001 environmental certification

2013: First prize in international architectural competition for new Køge University Hospital

2013: Winner of the “Energy, Climate and Environmental Park, Hillerød” competition. 

2014: Inauguration of Akershus University Hospital, emergency department, Oslo.

2015: The Danish Architecture Centre exhibits 100 building projects that have contributed to the creation of Danish architecture's world-class image. C.F. Møller Architects has 8 buildings represented.

2015: C.F. Møller's Swedish national arena, Friends Arena, Stockholm, receives the IOC/IAKS Award. The sporting world’s biggest architectural award.

2016: Six new associate partners: Ola Jonsson (Stockholm), Rolf Nielsen (London), Thue Borgen Hasløv (Copenhagen), Franz C.A. Ødum (Copenhagen), Lasse Vilstrup Palm (Aarhus) and Rune Bjerno Nielsen (Aarhus).

2016: Michael Kruse, Christian Dahle and Mårten Leringe become partners in C.F. Møller.

2016: Peter Sikker Rasmussen is appointed Head of Communications at C.F. Møller.

2017: The Maersk Tower, Copenhagen, is inaugurated by Queen Margrethe.

2017: Inauguration of the DNU Emergency Centre at Aarhus University Hospital, Denmark's first “super-hospital”.

2017: Christina Riddersholm starts in the position of Head of HR on 24 October.
