Shortlisted for new Singapore Healthcare Campus

C.F Møller in collaboration with Aecom and Ong&Ong is shortlisted for the new state-of-the-art Woodlands Integrated Healthcare Campus in Singapore.
The new integrated health-care complex, which includes an acute care hospital, community hospital and nursing home, is intended to serve the North Singapore region (mainly Woodlands, Sembawang and Yishun), which has a rising and rapidly ageing population with correspondingly increasing health service demand. The campus, covering a site of about 7.7ha, will be planned according to the principles of health promoting planning and architecture, integrated with green parkland and green surroundings. The total floor area of the complex will be approximately 268,000 m², with about 1800 beds (comprising 1400 acute and rehabilitation beds and 400 long-term care beds). The design is intended to encourage collaboration and communication amongst professionals / healthcare workers, as well as to promote interactions with patients and visitors. Sustainability and energy efficiency are key features, and the complex is expected to attain the BCA green-mark platinum rating. The client is the Singaporean Ministry of Health, and the shortlisted team is composed of C.F. Møller Architects, Aecom and Ong&Ong Architects. The Woodlands Integrated Healthcare Campus is set to open in phases from 2022 onwards. See more about the project and the site here:
