At present, the renovation is in full swing. Although the tenants will only move in at the end of the year, the project has already achieved the license that designates it as a Nordic Swan Ecolabelled building renovation.

The Nordic Swan Ecolabel encompasses criteria such as low energy consumption, a healthy indoor environment, requirements for condition analyses, resource and waste management, as well as recycling. This project stands out by not only recycling the main structure but also reusing older building elements such as ceiling panels and doors. The preservation of cultural-historical elements emphasizes cultural sustainability by ensuring that the city's heritage lives on in a new form.

The project's delicate balance between renovation and preservation has been crucial. By conserving and retelling cultural-historical elements, ObelHus, as the project is called, creates a harmonious synthesis between the past and present, where the soul of the old industrial building remains intact in a modern residential environment.

The certification of the project makes it the first Nordic Swan Ecolabelled building renovation in Jutland.
