International perspectives in the Almedalen Week

C.F. Møller is participating in the Swedish political week in Almedalen to share our international perspective on learning environments, and how these can support education in today's modern society. Under the heading "From kindergarten to Nobel Prize", we talk about the importance of having physical environments that meet the current demands for learning in schools and universities.
In our post-industrial society, where information and interaction between citizens largely has replaced physical labor, the pedagogical challenges have also changed. What has this meant for our school and university environments? We have also invited a number of experts in the field to participate in a panel discussion. The participants consist of a selection of representatives from the political, officials and client level. The seminar will be held by the Swedish Association of Architects and is a collaboration with RAU - Rector Academy Development. Location: Liljehornska house's yard, Strandgatan 16 A, Visby Date: Monday, June 30 Time: 17:00 - 18:00 hours. The evening ends with a reception and PechaKucha, an entertaining presentation format where invited guests will speak to 20 images shown for 20 seconds each. Almedalsveckan has been held on the island of Gotland for over forty years. It all started in 1968 when the then Education Minister Olof Palme spoke from a truck at the gunpowder tower in Almedalen. The early years of political speeches have evolved to become Sweden's largest political meeting place. Through democracy and openness, the Almedal week offers the opportunity to participate for anyone who wants to debate social issues.
