Energy design

C. F. Møller Architects aims to be at the cutting edge in the environmental area. The future energy requirements towards buildings represent an architectural challenge for a practice that intends to be a pioneer in the field and at the same time achieve high architectural quality.

C. F. Møller Architects has chosen to take up this challenge, under the heading of "environmental design". Environmental design is C. F. Møller Architects' term for design which takes account of energy concerns. It is thus an umbrella term which embraces a wide range of energy-conserving design solutions and knowledge of materials, indoor climate and technology.

There is no contradiction between environmental concerns and good architecture. On the contrary, it opens up new, attractive possibilities for innovation in form, spaces and materials which are very much to the benefit of the coming users and residents.
