Strategic reinforcement of C. F. Møller Architects' landscape department

As of 1 April 2008, C. F. Møller Architects has taken over Vibeke Rønnow, Landscape Architects. The takeover provides an opportunity to make optimum use of the practices' common potential in landscape architecture projects.

The two practices have enjoyed close co-operation over the past four years on Aalborg Waterfront, and the takeover is occurring as a natural extension of this teamwork. "The takeover gives C. F. Møller Architects an opportunity to offer a broader spectrum of landscape services," says architect and partner Tom Danielsen. "The area in which Vibeke Rønnow Landscape Architects has been working beautifully complements that of our own practice, such as tasks for housing associations, and for the Danish Road Directorate in connection with motorways." Today, C. F. Møller Architects can carry out independent urban and landscaping tasks on both a large and a small scale, as well as landscaping tasks in connection with the practice's own construction projects. "This helps to reinforce the close teamwork between construction and landscape architects, and with more landscape architects in the company, we can also undertake actual landscaping projects in future," says Tom Danielsen, who emphasises that C. F. Møller Architects will also continue its fruitful co-operation with external landscape architects. The four new staff members are based in Aarhus, and Vibeke Rønnow will be responsible for the day-to-day management of C. F. Møller Architects' landscape department in Aarhus. The takeover will be marked with a reception on Wednesday 23 April from 2.00 - 5.00 pm at the premises of C. F. Møller Architects in Aarhus.
