The complex consists of three residential wings, two of which contain residences, while the other houses relief dwellings and dormitories.

The wings are linked by the centrally located administration block, which also contains common rooms, such as the canteen.

The residences are on the ground floor, and all have terraces offering good contact and easy access to the surrounding forest and meadow.

The central motif of the architecture is expressed by the varying roof slopes of the smaller units that go to make up the complex. Together, these provide good living spaces and exterior areas. Elongated windows and large glass panels bring life to the facade.

Through the use of such materials as zinc and stained wood, the facade gains a natural quality which harmonises well with the woodland and the surrounding mountains, as well as with the other buildings in the area, including a kindergarten, which was also designed by C.F. Møller Architects.
