One such facility is Brønderslev Health Centre, a modern 5,000 m² facility located on the western edge of the town. The centre accommodates both local and regional healthcare services and serves as a workplace for general practitioners, four medical specialists, and several of Brønderslev Municipality’s health and rehabilitation functions, including four dedicated training halls. In addition, approximately 3,000 m² of the facility, featuring around 57 clinic rooms, is available for lease to both general practitioners and specialists. The centre’s shared facilities include a reception area, café, staff changing rooms, and a rooftop terrace for employees.

The central lobby provides direct access to the eastern regional section and the western municipal section, both organized around an inner courtyard that brings natural light and ventilation into the two-story building.

Architecturally, Brønderslev Health Centre features a façade clad in fired terracotta tiles, which blend harmoniously with the natural earth tones of the surrounding landscape. The design is further enhanced by precise façade detailing that adds an element of refinement to the clean, simple volumes.

In terms of energy efficiency and sustainability, the health centre meets the highest standards. It is certified to DGNB Gold and complies with the stringent requirements of Energy Class 2020. Notably, it is Brønderslev Municipality’s first building to achieve Danish sustainability certification.
