However, Company House III stands out from its predecessors by being a sustainable building, which has resulted in it being awarded a gold medal under the new Danish standard DGNB, and the distinction 'Very Good' under the British standard BREEAM. As the first independent certification in Denmark, DGNB (Green Building Council Denmark) assesses both the building’s climate impact and its economic and social sustainability.

The building is equipped with offices in varying shapes and sizes in order to be able to adapt to different business needs and requirements. The construction is in white concrete, glass and copper, which in time will give the building an elegant patina. Energy consumption at Company House III is 25 percent below the Danish energy requirements for new buildings, and functions such as mechanical ventilation and cooling ensure a good and eco-friendly inner climate. The building also lives up to criteria such as good proximity to public transport, environmentally-friendly building materials, and responsible treatment of construction waste and waste materials.
