The building's three storeys have a clear cubic structure, of which the concrete base seems to rise from the shifting levels of the port's concrete landscape.
The building's two top storeys are of brick, while the ground floor is in glass. The heavy brick façades appear to be borne by the light glass façade, giving the building a striking impression and a clear identity.
The building's interior is planned to achieve maximum flexibility. The office areas are distributed around a central space that rises to the building's full height. A stairway in the central space connects the storeys and ends at the canteen on the top floor. From the canteen, there is a view of the old quayside and access to a large terrace.
The basement has car parking, technical rooms, depot rooms and staff cloakroom facilities.
