To the south, the site slants down towards the stream of Møllestrømmen, thereby providing an ideal situation for creating good housing conditions with direct and attractive contact with both the town and the water. The project takes the form of an urban development which corresponds to the structure of Haderslev town centre: a dense town with small squares and intimate, lively urban spaces. The buildings are in two and three storeys, respectively. They follow the drop in the terrain, and the individual buildings are incrementally rotated in relation to each other, providing a view of the Møllestrømmen stream to all parts. The form language of the buildings is simple, straightforward and bright, and forms a natural, modern architectural element in Haderslev.
