The renovation, particularly visible from the street of Ryesgade, includes the following: new low-energy aluminium windows and doors, better insulation of the penthouses and of the roof, as well as a self-cleaning coat of render for the facades - all in all improving the insulation effect of the building 100 pct.

The renovation has resulted in a more calm and elegant street façade, with unifying horizontal bands - among other things due to the new balconies, which add to the appearance of the whole as well as the individual attractiveness of the apartments.

The window and door sill details have been worked out to eliminate energy loss around joints and frames, resulting in an almost loss-free construction. The first floor of the building, which contains a kindergarten, has been provided with four generously sized bay windows, allowing the children to be in close contact to the busy street life, yet screened by a an abstract tree-like pattern printed on the glass.
