The project involves laboratories, energy installations, logistics systems, technical installations and supply lines.

The expansion is an extension of the hospital’s service building, equivalent to 6,100 m2 of new build and approx. 2,000 m2 of conversion. The chapel has at the same time been expanded by 230 m2.

An important part of the assignment has been mapping extensive user processes and programming and managing the Department of Clinical Microbiology, Internal Service, the Logistics Department, the Technical Department and the Medicotechnical Department.

The physical framework has been an important parameter, and the emphasis here has been on employees and logistics. The important elements of the process have included light, sound, air, temperature, protection, screening, fire safety, hygiene, patient safety, energy consumption and sustainability.
