Compressor station Everdrup

The new natural gas facility in Everdrup, featuring a compressor station and operations buildings, is part of the Baltic Pipe project connecting Norway, Denmark, and Poland. The facility’s design concept builds upon the functional layout of the Egtved compressor station, creating a characteristic and harmonious entity within the surrounding landscape.

Classified as a Class 1 facility, the plant is subject to stringent safety requirements regarding the layout of buildings and operational areas relative to the process plant; these requirements are balanced here with excellent working conditions and high-quality environments for staff.

The central operations building is organized into modular process clusters that mirror the station’s operational workflow. The facades consist of prefabricated concrete elements featuring angled fiber-reinforced concrete cladding panels, creating a continuous, solid, blast-resistant wall while maintaining a simple, flexible building structure. Lighter building sections, such as storage areas and compressor units, feature expanded metal facades.
