As two circular structures, the pavilion and fire pit create a unique outdoor environment that is beautifully integrated into the rolling landscape.
The glass pavilion, lowered into the sloping terrain, is adorned with a green sedum roof and serves as an inviting lounge space. The pavilion is a harmonious extension of nature, with the sliding glass door creating a flow between indoors and outdoors.
The fire pit, with its in-situ cast plinth, oak slats and oak bench, shares the circular design with the pavilion. Both buildings reflects a raw Nordic elegance that oozes warmth and well-being.
Nordic oasis integrated into the landscape
A landscape project unfolds between the pavilion and the fire pit, with a trail system connecting the two elements and linking them to the original main building on the site. This integrated approach creates a harmonious cohesion throughout the entire project at Bøgehøj course center.
The pavilion serves as a cosy lounge in the middle of the greenery and provides the setting for events, courses and conferences. A Nordic atmosphere characterises the interior with in-situ concrete floors and walls clad in tactile oak slats. Fireplace and C.F. Møller Architects' Yoyo light fittings complete the space and invite guests into a warm, Nordic oasis.
The pavilion and fire pit are additions to the Salling Group Course Centre, combining functionality with aesthetics in a timeless recreational lounge and outdoor environment.
