C.F. Møller Architects Strengthens Management with New COO

Søren Adamsen will start on September 2nd at C.F. Møller as the new COO, to strengthen the top management layer with more specialised roles.

Before the summer holidays, C.F. Møller conducted a thorough and comprehensive recruitment process to find the right candidate for the COO (Chief Operating Officer) position, which will play a central and new role in the group management. The choice fell on Søren Adamsen, who held a similar position at COWI.

"We have missed the role of COO, and it was important to find the right person, which we believe we have found in Søren. We are very much looking forward to having him on board with us. Søren's arrival will strengthen our management capacity. It will allow me to focus more on the role of CEO, while also enhancing the strategic anchoring of project management, to the benefit of both us and our clients and partners," says Lone Bendorff, CEO and partner at C.F. Møller Architects.

Søren Adamsen's first day at C.F. Møller is Monday, September 2nd. Søren has a deep understanding of the industry, having worked at COWI for over 20 years. Among other things, he was the Project Director for the urban development project Lynetteholmen in Copenhagen and has a solid understanding of different construction phases at all scales.

"I have been familiar with C.F. Møller and was influenced early on, as I was educated at Aarhus University. I have always perceived C.F. Møller as a guarantor of solutions with a positive impact on our society, and I am very much looking forward to being a part of that," says Søren Adamsen, who will initially have his office at the headquarters on Europaplads in Aarhus.
C.F. Møller Architects is one of Scandinavia's largest independent architectural firms and is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. C.F. Møller employs approximately 300 people and has offices in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Aalborg, Stockholm, Malmö, Oslo, and Berlin.
