Søren Adamsen's first day at C.F. Møller is Monday, September 2nd. Søren has a deep understanding of the industry, having worked at COWI for over 20 years. Among other things, he was the Project Director for the urban development project Lynetteholmen in Copenhagen and has a solid understanding of different construction phases at all scales.
"I have been familiar with C.F. Møller and was influenced early on, as I was educated at Aarhus University. I have always perceived C.F. Møller as a guarantor of solutions with a positive impact on our society, and I am very much looking forward to being a part of that," says Søren Adamsen, who will initially have his office at the headquarters on Europaplads in Aarhus.
C.F. Møller Architects is one of Scandinavia's largest independent architectural firms and is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. C.F. Møller employs approximately 300 people and has offices in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Aalborg, Stockholm, Malmö, Oslo, and Berlin.
About Søren Adamsen
Søren Adamsen holds a Master of Political Science (cand.scient.pol.) from Aarhus University and an MBA from Henley Business School in England. Søren has been with COWI since 2003 in different roles, most recently as Executive Business Development Director at COWI International. Previously, he was Deputy Head of Office in West Zealand County, followed by five years with the European Commission and two years as Deputy Municipal Director in Midtdjurs Municipality.
In addition, Søren has held several board positions, both internally at COWI and in EFCA (European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations), including chairman of the "Green Deal Committee" and FRI (Association of Consulting Engineers). He has also been a management consultant for DBU (the Danish Football Association) and the Danish Sports Federation for several years and has been one of the "ARoS Ambassadors" at the ARoS Art Museum in Aarhus.
