Continuing training at C.F. Møller Architects optimizes knowledge sharing and common approach to quality, sustainability, and project management
‘Grow’ is C.F. Møller Architects' platform for personal and professional development, creating value for the individual and the common vision of improving life for people and planet.
Part of the Grow concept at C.F. Møller Architects is the continuing training program, which is exclusive to employees at C.F. Møller Architects. Further, several trainers are employees at C.F. Møller Architects who have special skills and knowledge in fields such as sustainability, wood and climate, project management, and the design tool Revit.
With staff spread across branches in Berlin, London, and different locations in Scandinavia, knowledge sharing is a huge focus at C.F. Møller Architects:
"I'm looking forward to see our new programme of continuing training unfold in 2022. It will strengthen our internal cohesion when employees from different departments meet each other on the courses and are taught by colleagues. The fact that our knowledge and skills are available across the countries where we have offices is also valuable for collaborators and clients," says Lone Bendorff, Partner and CEO of C.F. Møller Architects.
Among others, Sebastian Bildau from C.F. Møller Architects' Berlin branch is one of the employees who will soon be teaching his colleagues. Sebastian Bildau is a trained architect and specialist in solid wood, and works on several projects with wood, including for the German Ministry of the Environment in Berlin. He has teaching experience in architectural design from Duke University in North Carolina, the Technical University in Graz, Austria, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
"Teaching is a very collaborative endeavor. Therefore, you learn as much as you teach others. I love the interaction between people, whether it is between students, co-workers, or clients. Coming together and working on architectural concepts in drawings, models, or virtual environments is very rewarding,“ says Sebastian Bildau, architect at C.F. Møller Architects’ Berlin branch.
For the time being, the continuing training programme is offered to employees at C.F. Møller Architects' Danish branches. The ambition is to extend the Grow concept to the branches in Sweden, Norway, Germany, and the UK, in different formats for knowledge sharing.
