New Head of Workplace Design and Client Consultancy

C.F. Møller Architects has appointed Camilla Jensen Thorup as the new head of Workplace Design and Client Consultancy.

Camilla Jensen Thorup joins C.F. Møller with 17 years of experience in client consultancy and workplace design. She is also completing an industrial PhD, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise in architectural psychology.

“After a thorough recruitment process, we chose Camilla, who, with her skills, will be able to maintain the department's high professional standards and add new layers to it,” says Lone Bendorff, CEO of C.F. Møller Architects.

Camilla Jensen Thorup was educated at the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen and has previously worked at 3XN/GXN, the industry partner for her PhD. Before that, Camilla worked at BIG and PLH and has long been a part of the external examiner body for artistic education programmes. She will be based at C.F. Møller’s office in Copenhagen, with her first working day on October 1st.

"I am both proud and humbled to step into the role of department head, and I am very much looking forward to working with a strong team. I am confident that it will be exciting and educational to further develop the department together," says Camilla Jensen Thorup.

Camilla Jensen Thorup is taking over from Anne Sarto, who, together with Henrik Sarto, joined C.F. Møller as founders and owners of the consultancy firm mtre, which C.F. Møller acquired in 2021. Now it is time for a generational shift. Henrik Sarto is retiring, and Anne Sarto is stepping down from her leadership role but will continue working on projects.

"We would like to extend a big thank you to Anne and Henrik Sarto for their efforts in integrating mtre’s expertise into C.F. Møller, which means that today we can offer specialised solutions throughout the entire building process," says Lone Bendorff.
