C.F. Møller Architects finds new head of central office internally

Christian Pihlmark becomes the new head of Aarhus branch, also the company's HQ.

 

Christian Pihlmark will be the new head of the branch in Aarhus located at Europaplads., central Aarhus. Christian Pihlmark replaces Jette Østergaard, who has been the head of the branch since May 1, 2005, and is now retiring.

"First and foremost, I would like to thank Jette for her fantastic efforts over the years and our cooperation, and I fully respect Jette's decision to retire now. At the same time, I am pleased that we can find such a competent replacement internally in Christian as the new department head, and we all look forward to working with Christian," says Lone Bendorff, CEO and partner at C.F. Møller Architects.

In-depth knowledge of C.F. Møller and the industry
Christian Pihlmark joined C.F. Møller in 2010 after nearly four years at Arkipartners. Christian graduated from the Aarhus School of Architecture with a specialisation in urban and building transformation and has, among other projects, worked on the V-houses in Aalborg, the renovation of Brabrand Housing Association Department 2, and several other projects as a senior project manager at C.F. Møller. He comprehensively understands all phases of the industry.


"I am proud and honoured to take on the role of department head in Aarhus. I already know both C.F. Møller and my colleagues. In that way, I know what I am getting into, but there will also be new things to learn in my new role, which I look forward to taking on," says Christian Pihlmark.


Jette and Christian will work closely together in the weeks before the summer holidays to ensure a seamless and positive transition.

 

C.F. Møller Architects, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, has offices in Aarhus, Aalborg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Malmö, Oslo, and Berlin. C.F. Møller currently employs approximately 300 people, of which about 125 work at Europaplads in Aarhus.
