Søren Jørgensen started as a Bachelor of Architectural Technology and Construction Management in 2010 and has, among other projects, been project manager for WoodHub in Odense, Denmark’s largest timber building, and for Energinet’s headquarters in Fredericia. He takes over the role as head of the Copenhagen branch from partner and architect Franz Ødum. By involving Søren Jørgensen in the daily management of the office, the partners Franz Ødum, Thue Borgen Hasløv and Mads Mandrup will be able to focus more on professional development and strengthening C.F. Møller’s position in the market.
“It is with great pride that I take on the position as Head of Branch in Copenhagen. After many years at C.F. Møller, I have an in-depth knowledge of the company’s structure and a close relationship with my skilled colleagues. This provides a solid foundation for further developing the strong collaboration – both within the branch and across our offices,” says Søren Jørgensen, adding:
“I look forward to taking on the managerial responsibility and contributing to the continued development of daily operations and strategy.”
Søren Jørgensen is originally trained as a carpenter and later as a Bachelor of Architectural Technology and Construction Management. Before joining C.F. Møller, he worked at JJW Architects and Juul Frost Architects.
C.F. Møller Architects is one of Scandinavia’s largest independent architectural firms with offices in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Aalborg, Stockholm, Malmö, Oslo and Berlin, employing around 300 staff. In Copenhagen, C.F. Møller is behind, among others, the Maersk Tower, the Islands Brygge School, the extension of the National Gallery of Denmark (SMK), and the housing project Nordlyset.
