C.F. Møller part of the Venice Biennale 2016

C.F. Møller will represent Denmark at the huge architectural biennale in Venice from May to November 2016.
As part of the official Danish contribution to the architectural biennale in Venice, C.F. Møller will be present with a range of projects. Every other year, architecture enthusiasts flock to Venice to see architects from all over the world present their challenging and inspiring ideas and projects in regards to modern architecture. The selected Danish projects at the biennale will show and discuss humanism as a key factor in Danish architecture. Boris Brorman Jensen and philosopher Kristoffer Lindhardt Weiss have been appointed to curate the exhibition in the Danish pavilion at the biennale and are set to develop a multifarious and sensous “Wunderkammer” of projects that will show the span in how Danish architects and urbanists create architecture with focus on humanity right now. The 15th edition of the biennale The International Architecture Biennale in Venice, Italy takes place every other year and is the largest architecture event in the world. There are more than 60 national pavilions with exhibitions situated in the Giardini district, at the Arsenale and all over the city. The director of the 15th International Architecture Biennale in Venice is Chilean architect Alejandro Aravena. The exhibition opens officially on 28 May 2016 and can be seen until 27 November 2016. The Ministry of Culture Denmark has appointed the Danish Architecture Centre as commissioner of the official Danish contribution to the 15th International Architecture Biennale in Venice. The project is sponsored by Realdania, the Ministry of Culture Denmark and the Danish Arts Foundation's Committee for Architecture Grants and Project Funding.
