Commemorating Christian Frederik Møller

Today, October 31st 2018, we can celebrate our founder's 120th birthday.

Christian Frederik Møller was born in 1898 in Skanderborg, Denmark.

Having completed his education as a mason, he was admitted to The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, from which he graduated in 1925.

However, already the year before, in 1924, he founded his architectural practice in Copenhagen, the practice that today is our workplace and the framework for the creation of countless beautiful buildings.

C. F. Møller did not see himself as an artist but as a master builder. Economy and workmanship were just as important elements as aesthetics.

Our core values can all be read back in the culture that he and many skilled colleagues have shaped over time, where passion and professionalism coupled with the desire to bring innovation and tradition together in the creation of architecture of high international quality.

Until his death on November 5th 1988, C.F. Moller was an active part of the daily office life, and he has created an invaluable treasury and inspiring foundation for our work - our modern heritage.

Let's send a kind thought to the old master.

Brick on brick on brick for generations - we build and create to improve life for people and planet.
